Ashley DiNunzio, Clinical Intern (Chestnut Hill College)
Hello! My name is Ashley DiNunzio. I’m a master’s level counseling intern who approaches therapy with empathy and a belief in meeting each person without judgment. I strive to create a space where clients feel emotionally safe, genuinely heard, and accepted exactly as they are! I place great importance on helping clients identify and understand their emotions, especially when feelings may have gone unrecognized or invalidated in the past.
As a student therapist, I bring intentional reflection, cultural responsiveness, and a strong commitment to ethical, empathetic practice. I am dedicated to ongoing learning and self-awareness
so I can show up fully present and responsive to each person I work with. Following graduation in Spring 2027, I will be pursuing licensure in Pennsylvania as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
I have a strong clinical interest in adoption and adoption related experiences, including working with adoptees, adoptive families, foster care, kinship, reunification, guardianship, those who are
aging out of care, those involved with child welfare services and individuals exploring complex family of origin dynamics. As an adoptee I honor each person’s story at their own pace. I approach this work with sensitivity, respect, and an appreciation for each client’s unique journey, wherever they are!
